We are happy to announce that UAlberta Women in Chemistry will be hosting a satellite meeting to the 101st Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition. This retreat is an initiative started by Dr. Laurel Schafer, UBC Chemistry, and expanded on by the Women in Chemistry, Toronto Chapter. We hope LOGIC, Leaders Overcoming Gender Inequality in Chemistry, will attract young researchers as well as veterans in the field. We wish to bridge the gap between students and career mentors through a showcase of panelists and workshops. We will also feature opportunities for networking, along with a keynote speaker and evening banquet.
